Untitled

I love the fading sun as it
paints the trees black,
and the cackling of the
wicked green ocean
in the desert summer sun.
Pink and purple splotches,
spidery strands of red and
blue gossamer thread winding
ways through spirals of spun cotton.
The sky is a towering maze of gauze and
fabric–the whole earth’s sewn
into those colors.
I wish I could see it.
